Welcome to the Northern Arizona University High Altitude Swim Camp!  This swim camp is designed to improve the swimmers’ technique in all four strokes as well as starts and turns. Our aim is to improve the knowledge of all aspects of swimming; nutrition, strength, teamwork, mental training, race strategies, and much more.

Instruction takes place each day at the new NAU Aquatic and Tennis Complex, the home facility of the Lumberjacks. Our goal is to maximize swimming potential by helping swimmers create a winning mindset and provide ongoing and constructive feedback in the pool to improve stroke technique.

Our camps are available for swimmers that are ages 8-18. Overnight campers must be 12 years of age as of September 1, 2016. This is not a “learn to swim” camp. Swimmers should be proficient in freestyle and backstroke and be able to swim a minimum of 25 yards comfortably.

Highlights Include:

  • Stroke technique refinement for competitive swimming
  • Low camper-to-staff ratio and 24 hour supervision
  • Small group and individual stroke analysis/instruction
