1981 NAU Athletics Hall of Fame Class

Cecil Lee "Brute" Mulleneaux (Football, 1928-31)

First collegiate player from Arizona to sign a professional football contract.  Played 15 years for New York Giants, Green Bay Packers, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Reds (football).  While at NAU (then Arizona State Teachers College), he was a three-time all Southwest selection. Played for the famed Rudy Lavik teams that were 5-1-1 vs. Arizona State.
