Tim Rajsich
(Baseball, 1969-71)
Led the team in assists in both 1969 and 1971, and holds the school record with 110, set during the 1969-70 season. By combining great defense with good offense, he had a fielding average of .975, the highest of any NAU shortstop. In 1969, Rajsich was selected as an NAIA All-American, Honorable Mention. In 1971, he was selected as both an NCAA All-American, Honorable Mention and an NCAA Academic All-American. In 1971 earned First Team Big Sky Conference honors. Rajsich was elected as the All-Star shortstop in the Western Carolina League, and played professional baseball for both the Giant and Pirate organizations.
