Andy Hurd

(Basketball, 1982-86)

Hurd once held the all-time leading scoring record in NAU basketball history.  He recorded 1,533 points in the four years at NAU.  He held the Lumberjack record for most field goals made in a career with 597 and in 3-point field goal percentage with .449 (53 of 118 attempts).  He is third in career field goal attempts (1,207) and free throw percentage (.839, 286-341).  Hurd averaged 30.2 minutes in the 110 games in which he played.  He was a three-time All-Big Sky team selection and a member of the Big Sky's Silver Anniversary All-Conference team.  He was an all-academic selection in 1985-86.
