Mission of the Office of Athletics Compliance

The Northern Arizona University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is committed to competing for Big Sky Conference and Western Athletic Conference championships while operating with integrity. The Office of Athletics Compliance supports this goal through best practices, monitoring, and education.

The Office of Athletics Compliance serves as a resource to coaches, staff, enrolled and prospective student-athletes, faculty, boosters, and the Flagstaff community regarding NCAA, conference, and university rules and regulations.

Athletics Compliance is a shared responsibility of all NAU Athletics stakeholders - if you have any questions or would like to self-report a potential concern, please contact the Office of Athletics Compliance or the institution's faculty athletics representative, Dr. Alisse Ali-Joseph (alisse.ali-joseph@nau.edu).
