Academic Notes: Studying physics and secondary education

2016 Cross Country: All-American...All Big Sky...Opened the year with a sixth-place finish at the George Kyte Classic (23:16.7)...Followed it with a fifth-place showing at the Sycamore Invitational (25:27)...Came in 44th at the Nuttycombe Invitational (24:33.0)...Finished in fifth-place at the Big Sky Championships (24:32)...Came in 36th at the NCAA Mountain Regionals (31:48.5)...Came in 37th at the NCAA National Championships (30:23.5), helping to clinch the first national championship for not only NAU in cross country, but in school history.

2015 Cross Country: Did not compete

2014 Cross Country: Redshirted his sophomore season

2013 Cross Country: Top finish came at the Dave Murray Invitational, where he earned a fourth-place finish with a time of 22:08.01 ... Finished sixth at the George Kyte Classic with a time of 25:21.5 ... Was the top true freshman at the Adidas Invitational in Madison, Wis., finishing 43rd with a time of 23:57 ... Finished 40th at the NCAA Mountain Regional Championships and 200th at the NCAA National Championships, helping NAU to a second-place finish

High School: Decorated track and cross country athlete ... Won state championships in the 3200m, 1600m and 800m ... Recorded a career-best in the 3200m with a time of 8:51 ... Also recorded a personal-best in the one mile with a time of 4:09

Personal: Born to Ted and Margaret Trouard on April 22...Chose NAU because of the coaching staff and being in the greatest running town in the United States.
