Academic Notes: Plans to major in business

2017 Cross Country: All-American...Key runner during Lumberjacks 2017 campaign competing in five races during the season with three top-ten finishes throughout the year...Won first-place at the George Kyte Classic finishing with a time of 23:02.4 to start off the year...Followed up with a tenth-placed finish at the Greater Louisville Classic (23:42.30) and forty-third finish at the Wisconsin Nuttycombe Invitational (24:17.3)...At the NCAA Mountain Regionals placed eleventh with a time of 30:38.6...As NAU won their second National Championship in a row at the NCAA Championships in Louisville, KY Lomong was a major part of that victory finishing in eighth-place coming in at 29:33.09.

2016 Cross Country: Ran in four events for the Lumberjacks during his sophomore campaign...Best showings of the season came with a four-place finish at both the George Kyte Classic (23:01.1) and the Sycamore Invitational (25:22)...Also competed at the Nuttycombe Invitational and finished 16th at the Big Sky Championships.

2015 Cross Country: Competed in five events, including  George Kyte, the Cowboy Jamboree and Adidas Invitational … Closed out his freshman campaign scoring for the Lumberjacks at both Big Sky Conference Championships and NCAA Mountain Regionals  

High School: Three time all-state and five time all-prep league at Fork Union Military Academy ... Career-best 15:45 in the 5K

Personal: Born to Rita Namana and Longoyathiya Lomongom  on July 6, 1996 ... Has two brothers, Alex and Lopez ... Brother Lopez was an NAU All-American and Hall of Fame runner ... Chose NAU because it’s one of the best training grounds in the country, it has a great history of successful athletes, and “I just wanted to be part of it”
