Mc Kinley is entering his second year with Northern Arizona serving as the Sports Information Director and head media contact for the cross country, track & field and women's golf programs. He also works as a caller and inputs live stats for football as well as men's and women's basketball games. 

Along with the traditional record keeping and writing that comes with the SID position Ward-La Salle is the head social media content creator and media liaison for his assigned SID programs. During his time at NAU he helped to increase the XC/track & field social media following from around 6,000 followers to well over 20K in less than one and a half years. 

Ward-La Salle received his bachelors degree in Kinesiology from Louisiana Tech University in March of 2018. While attending La. Tech Mc Kinley worked for the Athletic Media Relations Department under one of his mentors Malcolm Butler.

Ward-La Salle is an avid long distance runner and enjoys writing. He volunteers at local middle schools as a referee and occasional coach.
