This will be Claire’s first year on the cheer team here at NAU. She was a competitive gymnast until the age of fifteen. After doing gymnastics Claire switched over to cheer in high school where she was on Varsity for three years and served as a captain her senior year. Outside of school she works at Woodward West in Tehachapi, California where she coaches cheer and works with kids of all ages. Claire is a special and elementary education major she wants to teach a special day Kindergarten class. Claire chose to move from California to NAU because Flagstaff is a beautiful place to live and experience a totally new environment to learn in. Claire is excited for the new year and cannot wait to see what happens with school and cheer.
