This will be Skyler’s first year on the NAU cheer team. She has been involved in competitive cheer since the age of four, and has had a passion for it ever since. She cheered all four years of high school, as well as being JV captain her freshman year and Varsity captain her senior year. She is currently majoring in special and elementary education while hoping to become a kindergarten teacher and helping children with special needs. Skyler chose NAU because it started out as a teaching college and because it is close to home but not too close. She is excited to form friendships with everyone on and off the team and can’t wait to see what the season has in store for this amazing team.
