2023 (Senior): Led NAU in singles play with an 18-2 record, recording 13 straight singles victories to close out the season... Tabbed a 17-5 doubles record with partner Piotr Galus to earn All-Big Sky First Team Doubles honors.

2022 (Junior): Went 19-7 in overall singles play, primarily playing at the No. 5, with an undefeated 5-0 record at the No. 4... Led the Jacks in doubles victories with an 18-8 record with partner Dominik Buzonics.

2021 (Sophomore): Had a 6-9 record in singles on courts 3-6. Had a 4-9 doubles record with partner Facundo Tumosa and Dominik Buzonics on court one. Won doubles matchup on court one with Buzonics in the Big Sky Championship match, 6-3. Went 6-1, 4-3 on court six before the match was retired and NAU clinched the Big Sky Championship.

2020 (Freshman): Season cut short due to COVID-19… Had an overall singles record of 5-6… Played on courts 2 (2-2) and 4 (3-4)… Teamed up with Chris Steele (3-4) and David Nguyen (1-1), playing only on court 2.

High School: Finished ninth in the World School Games, winning four out of five matches... Finished second in the country for the Essex County Team in both Winter and Summer County Cups.
 
Personal: Alex Groves was born on July 1 to Paul and Paula Groves in London, England. Groves is the brother to Adam and Megan.
