The jumping and combined event athletes contributed 41 points en route to both the men’s and women’s teams dominating the competition. Madeline Wilson had a strong performance in the heptathlon, scoring 4956 points to earn fourth place.

They likewise were important parts of the team's victories later that spring as they swept the Big Sky Outdoor Championships as well, with the women’s team scoring the most points in Big Sky history. Harmeyer sent three athletes to the NCAA West Regional, with Mitchell Effing competing in the long jump and triple jump, and Sirr Butler and Jack Normand competing in the triple jump.

The 2021 Big Sky Indoor Championships were canceled due to health concerns, however the Lumberjacks stormed back to the outdoor championships in a big way. The NCAA Regionals and Nationals were canceled, along with the Big Sky Outdoor Championships.

In his first season with the team, Harmeyer led two athletes, Cameron Rayford and Helena McLeod, to the NCAA West Regional Meet in long jump. He also led triple jumper Camperon Rayford to third place at the Big Sky Indoor Championships, contributing six points to the men’s team’s dominant win.

During his time there he coached 60 WHAC conference scorers, including the 2017 Indoor Triple Jump Champion, 24 NAIA National Qualifiers, and 4 USTFCCCA All-Americans.
