2017: Did not compete during indoor season, but logged times at three meets during the outdoor campaign … PR’s in the 5000m (17:03.76) and 10,000m (36:13.17) came at Big Sky Championships … Scored three points in each of those events
 
2016: Competed in four indoor track & field meets for NAU … PR’ed in the mile event at NAU’s Friday Night Duals (5:24.58), the 5000m event at NAU’s Mountain T’s (19:08.80) and the 3000m event at the Iowa State Classic (10:17.72) … Added six more outdoor meets to her competition schedule … Set new career bests in the 800m (2:18.77 – Jim Click Shootout) and 1500m (4:34.10 – Bryan Clay Invitational) … Qualified for Big Sky Outdoor Conference Championships, running in the 1500m event

Before NAU: Graduated with a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science as a nutrition major at the Waikato Institute of Technology in New Zealand

High School: Attended New Plymouth Girls’ High School in New Zealand … Competed in the Australia cross country championships, becoming the first female athlete in her high school’s history to compete at that event

Personal: Born to Julie and Peter Roughan on October 30, 1993 … Hobbies include nutrition, long boarding and swimming at the beach … Has four siblings: Nick, Adam, Lydia and Madeleine … Most memorable moment in her athletic career was representing New Zealand at the Australian Secondary School’s cross country championships in Canberra … Chose NAU for the great coaching, the opportunity to train at altitude and race in a team environment
