2009 Cross Country: Represented the Lumberjacks in seven races for the second-straight season … Finished fifth on the team, and 95th overall, at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in 30:52.3, nearly 50 seconds better than his time the previous year at the championship event … Took 33rd at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships in a time of 31:26.9 … Earned All-Big Sky honors for the first time at the Big Sky Championships with a fifth-place finish (25:51.4) … Ran to a time of 24:43.7 in the "blue" race at the NCAA Pre-Nationals … Recorded season-best 8K mark at the Cowboy Jamboree when he finished 19th in a time of 24:32.6 … Finished fourth overall at the Aztec Invite to give the Lumberjacks the top four finishers in the race … Shaved off 30 seconds at the George Kyte Classic from previous best time in 2008 to finish third (26:00.4).

Big Sky Championships: Finished 8th in the steeplechase (9:35.78@), and also competed in the 1,500-meter event.
