Before NAU: Attended Grossmont Junior College in California for a year

High School: A three sport athlete at Monte Vista High School, competing in baseball, football and track & field … Four year starter on all three teams, as well as a four-year captain in baseball, three-year captain in track and two-year captain in football … Racked up 2,500 yards and 39 touchdowns in four years … Named the East County Offensive Player of the Year in 2013 and 2011 (football) … The Division II 400m champion at Grossmont JC  

Personal: Born on January 5, 1996 … Has three brothers and one sister … Father James used to be a NAU Lumberjack football player, and his uncle is also an NAU alumnus … Hobby outside of athletics is cooking … Most exciting event he ever remembers is winning the Division II 400m race and going to the CIF finals in football … Chose NAU because he was eager to try something different, his family ties and the opportunity to compete as a track athlete
