2011 Cross Country: Was the Lumberjacks' consistent number-two runner once again in 2011, after sitting out 2010 with an injury ... Competed in the final five meets of the season, beginning with the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree, where he finished 17th (24:24.82) ... Notched dual top-five finishes at the first two postseason meets, placing second at the Big Sky Championships (24:38.52) and fifth at the Mountain Region Championships (30:33.3) ... Kicked out a 48th-place finish (30:21.0) at the NCAA National Championships after pulling his hamstring only a third of the way into the 10K race.
2011 Track & Field: After over a year off from running due to injury, made his return to the track at the 53rd Annual Mt. SAC Relays in the 1,500 (3:48.41) ... Recorded a personal-best time in the 5,000-meter run at the Payton Jordan Stanford Invite with a mark of 14:13.44 ... Finished the season at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships where he scored a fourth-place finish in the 5K (14:17.33) and placed fifth in the 1,500m with a time of 3:50.95.
2010 Cross Country: Redshirt season.
2010 Track & Field: Competed only during the indoor season for the Lumberjacks ... Capped off his 2010 campaign at the Notre Dame Alex Wilson Invitational when he ran 4:00.69 in the mile run, giving him the second fastest indoor mile time in school history ... His career-best time in the mile was the 26th-fastest time in the nation ... Captured first Big Sky track title with a victory in the 800-meter run (1:49.34@) which earned him an NCAA provisional mark, and the 28th fastest time in that event during the indoor season ... Took third in the mile run at the indoor championships in a time of 4:05.47@ ... Ran the 800-meter leg of the record-setting DMR that took first place at the conference championships (9:44.14) ... Ran 4:01.75 in the mile at the Husky Classic to record a then personal-best time in the event ... Opened track season with a NCAA provisional mark in the 800m at the Mountain T's Invitational (1:50.16@).
2009 Cross Country: Was the Lumberjacks' most consistent runner on the year recording five top-five finishes on the season, including a fifth-place finish (29:33.1) at the NCAA Cross Country Championships to earn his first career All-American award ... Along with David McNeill, became the first NAU duo to record a top-five finish in a championship race ... Took 14th at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships in a time of 30:49.5 to earn All-Region honors ... Finished second (25:31.7) at the Big Sky Cross Country Championships to help the men's team earn its third-straight conference title ... Earned first All-Big Sky award with the top-10 finish ... In the "blue" race at the NCAA Pre-Nationals, finished third overall in a time of 23:47.3, and was the first Lumberjack to cross the stripe ... Led the men's team with his second win of the season at the Cowboy Jamboree in a time of 23:44.7, his best 8K time of the year ... With the victory, NAU finished first out of 25 teams in Stillwater, Okla. ... In his first race in uniform, captured the Aztec Invite title (25:17) by finishing 17 seconds ahead of teammate Ahmed Osman ... Won two Big Sky Cross Country Athlete of the Week awards during the 2009 campaign.
Before NAU: Attended Central Arizona College from 2007-2008... Junior College National Champion in the 1,500m in 2009 ... Junior College Regional Runner of The Year in 2008 ... In both track seasons, finished second overall in the 5,000m event ... Helped Central Arizona to the 2008 cross country Regional Championship.
