2011: Ended first year of competition at NAU with a 45h-place finish at the NCAA West Prelims in the shot put … Took ninth overall in the shot put at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships … Recorded personal-best mark of 55 feet, 3.5 inches (16.85m) to win the shot put title at the Sun Devil Open … Placed 11th overall at the Big Sky Indoor Championships in the shot put with an indoor-best mark of 50 feet, 2.75 inches (15.31m).

High School: Graduated from Bishop Amat High School in 2009 … Four year starter, and three-year letterwinner in track and field … Also lettered two years in football … All-league member his junior and senior year in track and field … Went to CIF meet junior and senior year and was a state qualifier senior season ... Was a scholar athlete all four years of high school.

Personal: Born to Paul and Tina Osunwa on October 17, 1991 … Cousin Iheanyi Uwaezuoke played wide receiver in the NFL for the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions and the Carolina Panthers … Cousin Kelechi Osunwa currently plays professional soccer for Al-Merreikh ...
