High School: Two-sport athlete all four years at Westview High School: football and track & field … Shattered the WHS high jump record at 6’8” … Placed second at 2014 state championships in the high jump … This past season at Glendale CC, placed sixth at the Junior College National Championships in the high jump … Also a 2016 All-American while attending GCC … Set a new PR at GCC in the high jump (6’11”)

Personal: Born to parents Daniel and Stephanie on April 16, 1996 … Has four siblings, two of each: Taquoya, Daniel, Kayla and Daeshon … Hobbies include listening to music, with his favorites being R&B and hip-hop … Person he admires most is his father, Daniel, because “he is a hard-worker seven days a week and he shows me tough love” … Chose NAU because of Coach Townsend’s leadership, the jump program he is forming and it felt like the right college
