High School: Rece attended Sandra Day O'Connor where she played all four years under head coach Josh Gibbs. Graduating at the top of her class, Rece also participated in the National Honors Society, notably in the top 1%.

Personal: Rece is the daughter of MaryKate and Jeff Grant who both graduated from NAU. Rece is the older sister of Madison Grant.
