High School: Kang has won multiple championships, including the South Island U-19 Championships in 2021 and 2022, and the Southland Strokeplay Championship in 2021. She won the Otago Matchplay for three consecutive years from 2021 to 2023, also winning the Otago Strokeplay Championship in 2020 and 2021. Additionally, Kang claimed both the individual and team title at the Southland Intercollegiate.

She lists her most memorable moment as representing New Zealand for Women's Asia Pacific.
