The Rams made it to the Atlantic 10 conference championship each of his last two seasons with the program and the team broke the school record for most wins in a season (16) in 2018.

Head Coach Kylie Louw on Tyler, “We are very excited to be adding Tyler to our staff here in Flagstaff. He has proven himself to be a good goalkeeper coach and brings knowledge of the game that will continue to help our program. He is extremely passionate and positive both on and off the field and will help us grow in the direction we want to go.”

Prior to his time at VCU, Schatz played Kenyon College where he helped lead the program to their first NCAA tournament (2010) since the early 1990s.
