2023-24 (Senior):  Recorded two top times at TYR CMU Invitational in November in the 50 free (24.05) and 500 free (4:53.17) … grabbed the gold in the 200 back (1:57.27) at WAC … captured the 400 free relay (3:20.02) title and in the 800 free relay (7:13.38) while setting the new school records in both events.

2022-23 (Junior): Recorded three new top times at the 2023 WAC Championships in the 50 free (24.14), 200 free, (1:49.89), and the 200 back (1:58.75)... Swam in the 800 free relay at WAC Championships for a silver medal.

2021-22 (Sophomore): Earned program-record time in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay in a silver medal showing in the 2022 WAC Championships... Recorded a career-best 200 free in a bronze-medal performance (1:49:87)... Ended final day with a fifth-place finish in the 200 backstroke (1:58:80).

2020-21 (Freshman): Received two relay gold medals as well as a single individual gold in the 2021 WAC Championships... Swam in the third leg of the 800 free relay and finished first at 7:23.72... Final leg in the 400 medley relay for another first-place finish at 3:42.82...  Also won an individual gold medal in the 200 free with a time of 1:50.34... Went three-for-three in earning her best times in her individual events.... Obtained her first individual top time in the 500 free, swimming to a fifth-place finish in 4:57.49.... In the 200 free with 1:50.34... and third in the 200 back with 1:59.97.

High school: Three-time varsity letter-holder, specializing in the 100 and 200 backstroke. She is a part of the Phoenix Swim Club with Garrett McCaffrey. At the Arizona Division II State Championships, she placed third in the 100 back, breaking the school record with a time of 57.53.

Personal: Annie Carlton, from Phoenix, Ariz., is the daughter to Coreen and Dave Carlton and sister to Casey and Emma. Her hobbies include hanging out with friends, traveling, shopping and watching movies.
