2023-24 (Junior): Set the school record in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:20.02) and in the 800-yard freestyle relay (7:13.38) … set three season bests at the WAC Championships in the 50 free (24.54), 100 free (51.44) and 200 free (1:49.46).
2022-23 (Sophomore): Recorded three career bests at WAC Championships in the 100 free, 200 free, and 500 free... Finished sixth in 500 free finals at WAC Championships to bring the Jacks higher on the leader board (4:55.43)... Helped secure silver medal at WAC's in 400 medley relay (3:39.93).
2021-22 (Freshman): Recorded career top time and third best on the team in the 50 free at the WAC Championships (24.01).
High School: Newcomer of the year award freshman year, Varsity letter all four years, 3 time state finalist, 3rd place at Western Zone Open Water Championship.Â
Personal:Â Bena Koehn was born on May 28th 2003. Her parents are Jackie and Jonathan Koehn, and she has a younger sister Lily Koehn. Bena enjoys reading, camping, and cooking.
