2023-24 (Senior): Winner of the 100-yard butterfly at the Utah Tech meet (55.11) …Placed 7 th in the 100 fly (54.75) and came in 11th place in the 200 fly at the WAC Championships (2:03.72).
2022-23 (Junior): Competed in 400 medley relay at Utah Tech for third place (3:46.22)... Placed first in the 200 free relay at Utah Tech (1:35.39)... Recorded career top time in the 50 free at WAC Championships (54.00) while going on to finish fourth in the finals.
2021-22 (Sophomore): Won the 100 Fly against New Mexico (56.93)... Placed fifth in the A final of the 200 Fly at the 2022 WAC Championships (2:03.27)... Also finished fifth in 100 Fly at the 2022 WAC Championships on Day 3 with career-best time of 54.53... Swam the third leg of the 400 Medley Relay, contributing to a third-place finish.
2020-21 (Freshman): Helped the Lumberjacks to a third place finish in the 200 medley relay, swimming the fourth leg and finished in 1:41.95... Swam in the third leg of the 200 freestyle, finishing 5th with a time of 1:34.63... Found a 4th place finish in the 100 fly at 55.27... 21st in the 100 free with 52.75... Placed 22nd in the 50 free with a time of 24.34... Had her record best time in the 100 free (52.41) in a double dual meet against New Mexico State and Arizona on Jan. 30, 2021, finishing third overall.Â
High school: Swam under Tyler Fox at the Scottsdale Christian Academy and was a 2019 State Champion in the 100 Butterfly in the D-III level. She also holds eight records in her school. From her success in high school, she was a four year letter winner, starter, and one year captain. In the Small School Championships, Jago held the record in both 2018 and 2019 in the 100 butterfly.
Personal: Caylah Dorothy Jean Jago is from Phoenix, Arizona. She is the daughter of Cyndee and Christopher Jago and older sister to Collyn. She enjoys writing, journaling, reading, biking and calligraphy. She chose NAU for having a great team atmosphere, location, and academic program.
