2023-24 (Senior): Recorded best time in the 1000 free (10:20.17) against Utah Tech …
placed fifth in the 400 IM (4:25.04) at WAC … raced against her sister Viviana from
Grand Canyon in the A-Final of the mile (17.09.62).
2022-23 (Junior): Marked her season top time and best time since her freshman season in the 500 'C' final at the WAC Championships (4:56.67)... finished fifth in the 400 IM finals at the WAC Championships while recording her career best (4:23.38)... finished fourth overall in the 1650 at the WAC Championships for a career top time (16:55.12).
2021-22 (Sophomore): Placed fifth in the 1650 free (16.57.74) on the final day of the 2022 WAC Championships... also placed fifth in the 400 IM (4.24.06) on Day 3... Finished first the 500 free in the UNLV Invite (5:00.58)... Finished third in NAU sweep of the 1000 Free against New Mexico (11.05.18)... Swam to a sixth-place against New Mexico in 200 Fly with final time of 35.03.
2020-21 (Freshman): Named as Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year... Two-time individual gold medalist in the 2021 WAC Championships... Had a first place finish in both the 500 free (4:54.09) and 1650 free (16:55.94)... Also recorded a first-place finish to receive another gold medal in the 800 freestyle relay... Swam in the final leg of the race, pushing her team to a time of 7:23.72... Recorded lifetime bests in those two individual events, as well as her best 800 freestyle relay split time.
High school: Criscione has been swimming since she was five years old, earning State Champion recognition in various events. She has won in the 400 individual medley, 200 fly, 500 freestyle, 100 fly, 200 IM, 200 freestyle, and the mile in both yards and meters. For four years, she was on the Oregon Zones Team. She has also been a part of the Oregon All Star Team, National Diversity Select Team and the Western Zone Select Team.
Personal: From Corvallis, Ore., Francesca Criscione is the daughter of Anicia and Matthew Criscione and sister to Viviana. She chose NAU for the environment and team atmosphere, as well as liking the coaches. She admires her parents as well as her previous club coach Rick Guenther because they all have taught her the importance of hard work and dedication.
