2023-24 (Senior): Set the school record in the 200-yard freestyle (1:48.11) while competing on the 800-yard freestyle team and in addition to setting the school record on the relay team (7:13.38) at the WAC Championships … earned two personal bests at WAC in the 500 free in the 200 free (1:48.11) and 500 free (4:53.51).

2022-23 (Sophomore): Set two career bests at WAC Championships in the 200 free (1:49.74) and the 500 free (4:54.15)... Placed 4th overall in the 500 free prelims at WAC's to finish sixth overall in the finals... Competed in the Spanish Open Championships for team Spain.

2021-22 (Freshman): Won the 200-yard free against Arizona Christian and Ottawa to start the year (1:55.29) ... Finished second in the 100 free (54.49) ... Won the 500-yard freestyle final (4:56.25) in the A3 Performance Invite in Colorado after coming second in prelims (5:00.77) ... Won the 200-yard free prelims and finals the following day in Colorado (1:50.72) ... Finished second in 500-yard free at the Lancer Invite (4:48.15) ... Also finished second in the 200 free the following day (1:52.28) ... Finished second in the 1,000-yard free against New Mexico State (10:59.99) and the 500-yard free (5:20.96) ... Took silver in the 200-yard free 2022 WAC Championships (1:49.79) ...

High School: Placed 1st and 2nd at the Spanish summer Championships in the 200 and 400 free. Awarded best student-athlete of the season in 2017-18 and 2018-19. 

Personal: Helena Robla-Alvarez was born on January 21, 2003. Her parents are Fernando Robla Romero and Carmen Alvarez, and are both high school teachers. Helena enjoys traveling, drawing, music, photography, reading, writing and fashion. She chose NAU for the team, coaches and academic opportunities.
