High School: At Murray, she earned second place in the 100-yard breaststroke at the 2025 Utah State Championships as a senior… Won the 200-yard IM and took fourth in the 100-yard breast in her junior year… Holds individual school records in the 200-yard free and medley… Member of the Wasatch Front Market Sectional team in 2021 and 2025… Earned Academic All-Region honors. 

Personal: Kat Richter was born on April 12 in Bozeman, Montana… Her parents are Neal and Stephanie… Has two brothers, Zachary and Marcus, and a sister, Brooklyn, who are all Utah high school Championship swimmers…Chose NAU for the supportive coaching staff, outstanding campus, academic opportunities, and athletic facilities.
