Biography
2025-26 (Junior): Posted season best in 500-yard freestyle at NMSU with 5:49.08…Against Utah Tech posted a new season best in 50-yard backstroke with a time of 34.20.
2024-25 (Sophomore): Posted season best in 100-yard backstroke with 1:11.56 against New Mexico…Claimed first in 200-yard individual medley (2:35.04) and 1000-yard freestyle (11:23.93) while also setting personal best in 1650-yard freestyle (18:58.13) at WAC Championships.
2023-24 (Freshmen): Competed on the international stage with the US Paralympic Swim Team … had three season best times at the Arizona & SIU meet in the 50 free (31.83), 100 free (1:05.61) and the 100 back (1:16.67).
International: A member of the United States Paralympic National Swim Team since 2019…Competed for Team USA at the 2019 Paralympic Pan-American Games in Lima, Peru, and the 2023 Paralympic Pan-American Games in Santiago, Chile…Participated in the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, swimming in the 400-meter freestyle...(25-26): Secured gold in 400-yard L freestyle finals (4:59.40) at U.S. Paralympic Championships.
High School: Spent the 2019 season swimming at Warren Township High School for head coach Chris Bertana…The 2019 campaign at Warren saw her finish with All-American para swimming times in the 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 500 freestyle and the 100 backstroke.
Personal: Keegan Dawn Knott was born on July 11 to Jeff and Michele Knott…Outside of swimming, she enjoys reading in her spare time…She chose NAU because of Northern Arizona’s excellent conference reputation along with a strong exercise physiology undergraduate program before she goes to physical therapy school.
