2022-23 (Junior): Swam her season-best in the 50 freestyle TYR/CMU Invitational (25.23)... Recorded a season-best time in the 50 backstroke at the UNLV Invitational of (27.73)... Put up season top time in the 100 fly 'C' final, coming in at 57.07... Recorded career best in 200 backstroke with (2:02.27)... Recorded another career best in the 200 fly at (2:04.77).

2021-22 (Sophomore): Swam her season-best 100 butterfly (57.79) and in the 200 backstroke (2:06.85) at the UNLV Invite... Earned a  season-best 50 free time of 25.12 on the first day of the 2022 WAC Championships... Followed up with another season-best in the 100 backstroke on Day 2 (58.83).

2020-21 (Freshman): Swam four events in the 2021 WAC Championships (200 fly, 100 fly, 100 backstroke)... Had a 7th place finish in the 200 butterfly with a mark of 2:05.84...Recorded her season best time in the prelims of the 200 fly at 2:05.54... In the B Finals of the 100 butterfly, placed 14th with a time of 56.82... 16th in the B finals of the 100 backstroke (58.76)... Had a time of 24.88 in the 50 free. 

High school: Graduated Summa Cum Laude from Casteel High School, where she was a four year letter winner and starter, as well as a two year captain. For eight years, she swam for the Seville Sharks, starting for six years and a captain for four. Carlson holds club records in the 100 and 200 butterfly, 100 and 200 breaststroke, 200 back and the 200 and 400 IM.

Personal: Kendall Jean Carlson was born in Detroit, Mich., but currently resides in Gilbert, Ariz. with her parents, Laura and Jeff Carlson. She is also the other sister to her brother, Dylann. In her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding, boating, and surfing. She chose NAU because she enjoyed the campus and surrounding area.
