2023-24 (Freshmen): Â Earned a spot in the B-Final at WAC Championships in the 200-yard backstroke, (2:04.29) and registered two season best times in the 200 free (1:51.53) and 100 back (56.97).
High School: Was a swimmer at Tucson High Magnet School for head coach Chris Harrison.Â
Personal: Meropi Eggink was born on August 15, 2004, to Aalt Eggink and Linda Marinos…She is the younger sister to Natalie Marinos and older sider to Luuk Eggink…Mother Linda was a swimmer at the University of Minnesota…Outside of swimming, she enjoys reading, baking and cooking as hobbies…She chose NAU because of the smaller community that Northern Arizona has in Flagstaff as well as the cooler weather compared to her hometown of Tucson.Â
