High School: In her four years at Sunnyslope, she was the volleyball captain for one year and lettered all four years, where she totaled a record 1,204 kills, 940 digs and hit to a .256 clip… A three year starter for the beach volleyball team…Had playoff debuts all years… Part of the 6A Second Team All-Conference three times… Four time All-Region First Team… 6A Regional Offensive Player of the Year… MVP VB Team…Most Athletic Female of Sunnyslope Senior Class award… United States Marine Corps Distinguished Athlete Award.

Personal: Georgi Stein was born on March 23 in Phoenix, Ariz. to parents Carmi and TJ… Has an older sister, Eva, and two younger identical twin brothers, Tim and Van…She is the 10th Lumberjack in her family to attend NAU…Both of her grandpas played for NAU Football at the same time, her Grandma was also a cheerleader at NAU… Enjoys camping, hiking, and baking… Wanted to be a gymnast and contortionist when she was younger… Chose NAU because of her family legacy, love for Flagstaff and the coaching staff. Has been attending volleyball camps at NAU since 7th grade.
