Carson Lopez joined the Northern Arizona Athletics Department in June 2025 as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer. She works directly with NAU's track & field program.

Lopez is currently working towards her master's degree in special education with an emphasis on mild to moderate disabilities. Lopez completed her bachelor's degree in athletic training at Ohio State University in 2025. During her time there, she had the opportunity to work with track & field, men's ice hockey, football and men's basketball.
 
Lopez is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and is CPR/AED certified.
 
In her free time, she loves hanging out with her friends, cooking and going on hikes.
