He led Menlo College to 15 wins and back-to-back GSAC Tournament semifinal appearances in 2022 and 2023. Delgado developed six All-GSAC honorees, as well as five GSAC and NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
After a stellar playing career at Division II Regis University, Delgado began his journey into coaching at his alma mater from 1997-2001, helping guide the women's program to back-to-back Rocky Mountain Conference titles in 1999 and 2000. During that time, Delgado was also a member of the coaching staff for the Colorado Olympic Development Program, and head coach of the Colorado Rush U16 boys club team.
