Puneeth Sharma joined NAU as the football program's Chief of Staff and Director of Operations in March 2024. The 2025 season is his second on staff.
 
Sharma joined the Lumberjacks from Colorado State where he spent a season serving as a football operations assistant and oversaw the day-to-day logistics of CSU's football program.
 
No stranger to the Big Sky Conference, Sharma spent time at Northern Colorado as football operations assistant and assistant defensive line coach before joining the Rams.
 
Prior to his tenure with the Bears, Sharma was a personnel and recruiting assistant at the University of Pennsylvania where he assisted the coaching staff with recruiting and outreach to prospective student-athletes.
 
Sharma's career began at Temple University where he was an equipment manager and a personnel assistant.

Originally from Mount Olive, N.J., he received his bachelor's degree in Marketing and Management from Rutgers-Camden University in May 2018 and his master's in Sport Business from Temple in May 2020.
