Sheridan Cook serves as Associate Athletic Director for Compliance, a role she has held since September 2026. Initially hired as Director of Compliance in August 2022, Cook was previously promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Student-Athlete Services in September 2025.

Cook oversees the department's compliance unit and serves as the department liaison to Campus Living, Campus Dining, Bookstore, Campus Health Services and Student and Departmental Account Services in addition to overseeing the department’s monitoring of NCAA Bylaw 13 (recruiting), NCAA Transfer Portal, Big Sky Conference Serious Misconduct Rule and NCAA Campus Sexual Violence Disclosure and Name, Image and Likeness (NIL).  Cook will also serve as the department’s contact with ARMS and INFLCR.
 
Prior to joining Athletics, Cook coordinated all aspects of 18 on-campus event days for prospective students and programming related to students with diverse backgrounds including Indigenous Visit Day, NAUnity Day and Lumberjack Spirit Day as a Senior Events Coordinator in University Admissions on the NAU campus. She joined that role in July 2021 after spending a year as a Graduate Assistant in University Admissions where she mentored and co-supervised 40 True Blue Ambassadors.
 
After earning her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Montana in May 2015 in Environmental Studies, Cook spent five years as a Senior Admissions Counselor at her alma mater.
 
Cook also holds a Master’s degree in Counseling-Student Affairs from NAU in May 2022.
