Abby Akin averaged 3.71 kills and 1.43 blocks per set and hit .615 against Weber State and Idaho State last week. Akin, the Big Sky's Defensive Player of the Week, had two big matches first hitting .786 - the fifth-best single-match hitting percentage in program history - and recording 11 kills versus Weber State on Thursday, Oct. 18. Akin then tallied 15 kills, one shy of her career-high, and eight blocks against Idaho State on Saturday, Oct. 20.
