Finishing the Big Sky Conference Championships with a three-round score of 223 (74-72-77), freshman Ekaterina Malakhova tied for second place with three other golfers at 7-over this past week. Malakhova opened the tournament at Arrowhead Golf Club in Molalla, Ore. with an even score on the back nine during the first round and tied for seventh through 18 holes.

In Tuesday's second round, Malakhova turned in a 2-over 72 to slide up to second place after birding two of the day's final three holes. Already a First Team All-Conference honoree, Malakhova earned All-Tournament Team honors after she finished with a flurry, recording birdies on 17 and 18 to finish the third and final round of the tournament. Malakhova's nine birdies across the three days led the Lumberjacks and tied for fourth-most amongst all players.
