Chris Bowling led the NAU men's basketball team with a season-high 17 points off the bench in the Lumberjacks' 74-68 New Year's Eve victory over Montana State. Bowling made 4-of-9 three-pointers with his fourth being the biggest of the game. After Montana State closed to three, Bowling hit a three to push NAU's lead out to 70-64 with 12 seconds left in the game. He added two free throws later to ice NAU's first Big Sky win of the season.
