Elisa Rodriguez sprinted her way to a first-place showing in the 50 freestyle in the NAU swimming & diving team's double dual versus Kansas and Northern Colorado in the Aquatic and Tennis Complex last Friday, Jan. 11. Rodriguez touched the wall in 23.46, besting Kansas' Haley Bishop by three-tenths of a second. Rodriguez then placed second in the 100 freestyle with a time of 51.73. She also swam on NAU's second-place 200 medley and 400 freestyle medley teams.
