Brooke Andersen received her fifth Big Sky Women's Field Athlete of the Week of the outdoor season after she rewrote NAU's and Big Sky's record book at the Desert Heat Classic last weekend. She recorded the second-best toss in the NCAA and the world in the hammer throw with a mark of 74.20 meters. That was the best performance in NAU and Big Sky history. It was also the sixth-best showing in United States track and field history and the second-best throw of all-time in the NCAA.
