Aleksandra Chekalina was the NAU golf team's high finisher at the 2019 Big Sky Championship to cap off a solid freshman season. Chekalina tied for fifth at two-over-par 218 and earned All-Tournament honors after receiving a nod to the All-Big Sky Third Team earlier last week. She shot even par 72 in each of the first two rounds and closed out with a two-over-par 74 in the third and final round. Chekalina was the highest finishing freshman in the tournament.
