Case Cookus threw for 357 yards and four touchdowns in the NAU football team's 55-21 victory over Western New Mexico on Saturday, Sept. 14 in the Walkup Skydome. He completed 12-of-21 passes and engineered a Lumberjack offense that rolled up 672 yards of offense. He threw connected with Brandon Porter and Joe Logan for touchdowns in the air during NAU's first two drives and had three touchdowns overall in the first half. He hooked up with Logan again for a 63-yard touchdown to open up the second half to complete his day.
