Luis Grijalva placed third overall at the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. on Saturday, Sept. 21. He was the lead runner for the NAU men's cross country team that placed four runners in the top six and won the meet, besting four other top 25 schools in the top five with a team score of 31 points. Grijalva finished the 8K race with a time of 23:58.6 to earn his second podium finish in as many races to open the 2019 season.
