Cameron Shelton averaged 24.0 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Lumberjacks against Eastern Washington, Texas State and Denver. Shelton posted a trio of 20-point games – his first three of the season – starting with 23 points versus the Big Sky preseason favorite last Saturday. Shelton shot 60 percent from the field, made 3-of-4 of his three-point attempts and knocked down 12 free throws offensively, while setting new season-highs of six rebounds and six assists across the two games.
Helping lead the Lumberjacks to their first victory of the season, Shelton finished with a season-best 27 points on Tuesday against Denver. Closing out the victory down the final stretch, Shelton scored NAU's final six points of the game as he was perfect from the free-throw line in the final 1:44.
