Cameron Shelton exploded for a career-high 30 points in NAU's 83-78 overtime win on the road at Idaho on Saturday, putting a punctuation mark on his three-game week. In three games - two at Idaho and one at #1/1 Gonzaga - Shelton averaged 24.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game while also adding five steals. After starting the week with a near double-double against the nation's No. 1 team on Monday with 20 points and nine rebounds vs. Gonzaga, Shelton torched the Vandals in leading NAU to a pair of Big Sky victories. He posted 24 points, seven rebounds and seven assists on Thursday in the 78-65 win, and then followed that up with 30 points, six rebounds, seven assists and three steals on Saturday. Shelton has now scored 20 or more points in six consecutive games and he is the first Lumberjack to score 30 points in a game in nearly two years. He shot 42.9 percent overall, 45.5 percent from three and 84 percent from the free throw line in the three games this week.
