Becoming the 30th player in school history to reach 1,000 points in his career, junior Cameron Shelton averaged 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.5 steals in his pair of games against the Montana State Bobcats. Shelton entered Saturday afternoon's contest needing 16 points to reach the milestone, doing so easily as he recorded his 10th 20-point game of the 2020-21 season. Entering this week's games against Northern Colorado, Shelton currently leads the conference in scoring (21.6) and steals (1.7) while also ranking fourth in assists (4.0) and tied for eighth in rebounds (6.1).
