Finishing with a 2-over 218 across 54 holes at the Red Rocks Invitational at Oakcreek Country Club, junior Aleksandra Chekalina beat out all other Big Sky Conference golfers during this past weekend. With seven Big Sky teams among the field of 19, NAU also beat out all of its rivals with a 44-over 908 to finish fifth overall.

Chekalina's 3-under 69 in the third round matched the second-lowest round of her career along with being the first round in the 60s by a Lumberjack this season. Recording five birdies in her final seven holes, Chekalina tied the Red Rocks Invitational's sixth-lowest round ever.
