Olivia Lucero averaged 17.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game over two contests against Arizona and Cal Poly to receive Big Sky Player of the Week honors. Lucero played all 40 minutes and scored a game-high 23 points while knocking down all four of her three-point attempts and making 9-of-10 at the free throw line to lead the Lumberjack women's basketball team to a 84-66 victory over in-state rival Arizona on Thursday, Dec. 7. She then recorded 11 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, a steal and a block in NAU's loss to Cal Poly on Saturday, Dec. 9. For the week, she shot 50 percent from the field, 62.5 percent from three and 91.7 percent from the charity stripe.
