Tyler Day placed second overall at the Pre-National Invitational, while leading the NAU men's cross country team to yet another victory on Saturday, Oct. 13. Day ran the 8k in 23:48.8 which was just milliseconds behind Stanford’s Grant Fisher's individual winning time. As a team, NAU once again dominated the field placing five runners in the top-15 to win the invitational held in Madison, Wis. Day earned Big Sky Cross Country Athlete of the Week for the second time this season as a result of his performance.
