OGDEN, Utah - The Big Sky Conference has selected the men's Track and Field Athletes of the Week. Northern Arizona's Vernon Jamison was named men's track AOTW, while NAU's Deante Kemper was named men's field AOTW.

Jamison, from Queen Creek, Ariz., had a very impressive 2014 debut at the Lumberjack Team Challenge. The junior won his heat of the 60m dash final with a time of 6.90 and the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.99. Both are career-best in those events for Jamison.

Kemper, from San Diego, Calif., also had an impressive debut at the Lumberjack Team Challenge. Kemper battled it out against the likes of University of Arizona's Nick Ross in the men's high jump. The junior's best mark was a jump of 7-2. Kemper nearly matched his career best of 7-3 but the jump was not counted due to a technicality.
